The Swedish School Association in Seattle offers complementary Swedish education according to the Swedish Board of Education’s curriculum to children who speak Swedish. All education takes place at The Swedish Cultural Center in Seattle three Sundays every month.

Curriculum in Swedish
The curriculum provides support for the organized education in Swedish of Swedish children living in the Seattle area. The focus of the school is to strengthen the students’ understanding of Swedish heritage, culture and language through an environment supportive of the student’s language development, which is our primary goal.
The curriculum is comparable to the Swedish National Elementary School standards.

The Swedish School Association in Seattle is a non-profit organization. To ensure quality education, parents play an important role by volunteering as educational assistants, librarians, editors to ”Skolbladet,” and as board of directors.
